Thermoplastic Polyester Elastomer
(Total 0 Products)Introduction to Thermoplastic Polyester Elastomers
Thermoplastic Polyester Elastomer (TPEE) is a block copolymer, which: contains a high melting point, high hardness of the crystalline polyester hard segment and the glass transition temperature of the lower amorphous polyether or polyester soft segments, two-phase linkage structure, the hard chain segments of the crystallization of the physical cross-linking effect, stabilize the size of the product, the soft chain segments of the amorphous polymer to give a high degree of elasticity.
Characteristics of Thermoplastic Polyester Elastomers
TPEE has the elasticity of rubber and the strength of engineering plastics, compared with rubber, it has better processing performance and longer service life; compared with engineering plastics, it also has the same characteristics of high strength, while flexibility and dynamic mechanical properties are better.
Chemical media resistance: TPEE has excellent oil resistance, at room temperature can be resistant to most polar liquid chemical media (such as acids, alkalis, amine diol compounds), but the role of halogenated hydrocarbons (except Freon) and phenols but can not help, and its resistance to chemicals with the increase in its hardness and improve the ability.
Thermal properties: TPEE has excellent heat resistance, the higher the hardness, the better the heat resistance.Recyclable: TPEE products are used in many fields due to their green characteristics.
Aging resistance: TPEE has excellent chemical stability under many different conditions, such as under water spray, ozone, and outdoor atmospheric aging.
